Rexleigh’s career as a professional pianist included performances with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Herbert Soudant (Chopin e minor concerto), Dalia Atlas (Prokoviev 3rd concerto) and Victor Yampolsky (Ravel G Major concerto). Rexleigh has a particular love for French Chansons and worked with vocalist Claudine Gunzburg in a duo called Claudine and Leigh in the mid 1980’s, in Cape Town and surrounds.
